What is Rapid-Neurofascial Reset?
It is a new soft tissue, movement based therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous systems role in alleviating tension and restrictions within the muscles, fascia, ligaments and nerves.
I know that sometimes traditional massage doesn't achieve the results you are looking for and you can get frustrated with the slow progress, this is where I would introduce you to Rapid-NFR, I would explain to you what it is and even do a quick demo.
It is a deeper and often times painful treatment designed only for those who are ready for results and who are ready to heal.
I will say most people who have tried Rapid-NFR are believers in the technique as they can feel the results. If you are still curious as to what Rapid-NFR is after the demo, I offer a combination treatment where I will use both Massage and Rapid-NFR and if your short on time I offer Rapid-NFR as a stand alone treatment as well.
How did Rapid-NFR begin?
RAPID was developed by Canadian Massage Therapists Robert and Sherry Routledge who have been successfully using their method to treat clients for nearly two decades. Their goal is to empower other therapists to gain a new level of clinical success with their most challenging clients.
What is treatment like?
Every session is a combination of examination and treatment. The RAPID provider uses his/her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of the muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Any painful and hypersensitive areas are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific client movements.
Please bring or wear loose fitting clothes (sweats, yoga pants, t-shirt) to your session. RAPID sessions may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of treatment, this happens as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function.
Why choose Rapid-NFR?
Many clients choose RAPID because of its rapid response to treatment. This can help active individuals return to their activities quickly. It can also be helpful in figuring out why a certain pain may not be resolving through the use of additional assessment and treatment.
